My favorites section is a little uncanny. It is filled with some of the art that I find most impressive. But it also is a holding place for craft ideas.

Hello, I'm Cloudiie, I would call myself more of a doodle-ist than an artist. Art is a great escape for me, unfortunately I am constantly in and out of my muse. I like to dabble with various Medium and styles. Including writing. I occasionally toss out some poetry and I am working on the rough draft of a couple stories.
I spend most of my arting-time doing digital art of animals; I also dabble in animation.

Interests
It's been a while.
I had quite a few things going on in my life. But man is it good to be back!
I've got big plans this year! I would really like to host an art table at the local anime convention. It's something I've been wanting to do for a couple years now.
I'm taking a semester off school. So this spring and summer I'm gonna devote a lot of time to improving my art and hopefully putting some prints and other merch together!
We'll see if it happens or not? But that's my goal!

For those interested I was just gonna write down what's happened and why I've been away and unproductive for so long.

--- The Tale of Naomi's Lack of Computer ---

Over a year ago my laptop started having connectivity issues with the battery. When plugged in to a socket it would work fine. But otherwise it would randomly black out at the slightest movement or jostle. This marked me slowing down in digital art. Along with a steady decline in my academic performance. Queue June of last year where I finally decided to make use of my laptop's warranty and get it repaired. I waited over a month(of being told that they were waiting on parts) before finally hearing back that my laptop could not be fixed.

I got a refund of what I paid for my laptop. But rather than going for another laptop like planned I decided to build a PC per the recommendation of some family and friends. July/August I finally got all the parts together and attempted to build it but didn't receive as much support as I planned on. My parts sat around for a while and my first attempt to build it was a failure. I couldn't get my dad or uncle to seriously look at it and help me figure out what I had done wrong.

Tried two more times to have friends come look but we couldn't figure out what was wrong. I thought maybe my RAM was incompatible. But I had tried to be really careful when picking out things.

Finally in the late fall I took down everything that had been put together. Chalking it up to a faulty motherboard and that I would need to save up and buy a new one. Came to find out that when looking at new motherboards I had bought the older model of the one I intended to buy. All of my issues were because my motherboard needed a BIOS update in order to function with my newer model processor.

I have happy to figure out what was wrong. But I was still stuck. I either needed to still buy a new motherboard, or get access or buy an older model processor. None of which were particularly feasible.

Queue Christmas where I get a letter from my dad of him offering to fix it and get it running. For reference my dad works as a computer support specialist for the local hospital. He knows his way around computers...
It was a month before he actually sat down and took a look at everything. He had access to a spare processor. In less than a day he was able to update the BIOS, install the OS and get my computer working.

So here I am.
The whole ordeal was definitely a learning experience but quite frustrating. Hoping this computer will last me a while before I have to fuss with a new one...
